Candidates in the black tone: obsidian bodies, one accent (the site's platinum silver), each also as a pure one-colour mark and as a negative.
The motif is the merkle-3 glyph — one root block above two leaf blocks, Skydoge and Bitcoin, the two roots that become one trunk — and the M-root monogram, an M whose centre drops a tap root.
Every tile: black tone on white and negative on black, then the 128 / 32 / 16 px renders (favicon check), then the downloads. Vector SVG, no fonts needed except inside the two coins.
The home-page coin in grays and in gradients, same construction (the ₿ cut through the face to the disc beneath). Seven grays with no hue at all: graphite with a light-gray cut, a flat mid gray, light gray for dark surfaces, a cool slate, a warm stone, a three-gray spot spec and the gray BITCOIN MOI lockup. Seven gradient treatments: the silver-to-graphite sweep, a radial chrome, a dark-to-light diagonal, obsidian into steel blue, a muted holographic foil, a silver bezel ring around the black coin and the gradient lockup.
topGraphite and light grayY01-gray-graphite The coin with the obsidian swapped for graphite (#4b4b4b -> #161616) and the platinum silver for a light gray (#fafafa -> #9c9c9c): the same radial lights, no hue at all. The neutral default when the page silver is too cool.
Mid gray, flatY02-gray-flat Two flat grays and nothing else: a #6e6e6e face with the ₿ cut out of it over a #d4d4d4 disc. No gradients, no shading; for print at one tint, embossing, laser-etching and anywhere a gradient will not survive.
Light gray on darkY03-gray-light The coin for dark surfaces: a light-gray face (#f2f2f2 -> #a6a6a6) with the ₿ cut through to a charcoal disc (#5a5a5a -> #0e0e0e). The tonal inverse of Y01; on black the coin glows, the ₿ sinks in.
Cool slateY04-gray-slate The grays pushed a few degrees cold: a slate face (#4a515c -> #15181d) and a cool pale cut (#f4f6f9 -> #7f8793). Reads as brushed steel on screens; sits next to the site blues.
Warm stoneY05-gray-stone The grays pushed warm: a stone face (#565149 -> #1a1816) and a warm pale cut (#f8f5ef -> #99928a). Reads as basalt and limestone; for paper, packaging and warm-toned photography.
Three graysY06-gray-3tone Exactly three flat grays: light #d9d9d9 (the disc, the ₿), dark #2b2b2b (the face) and mid #8c8c8c as a ring just inside the cut and a contour around the ₿. A three-ink spot-colour spec; no colour, no gradients.
Gray horizontal lockupY07-gray-lockup-h The graphite coin (Y01) beside BITCOIN MOI in the page's Orbitron 900 (embedded), letters graphite with the light-gray bevel: the O04 lockup with no hue. Headers, banners, grayscale print.
topSilver to graphite sweepY08-grad-sweep A vertical sweep: the face runs silver at the top to graphite at the bottom, the cut runs the opposite way (graphite to silver), so the ₿ and the edge keep their contrast along the whole height. The classic brushed-metal coin.
topRadial chromeY09-grad-chrome The cut as chrome: a radial gradient of seven rings (white, silver, dark, silver, dark, silver, bright edge) under the obsidian face, with the face drawn smaller so a chrome rim shows all round and the ₿ carries the reflections.
Dark to light diagonalY10-grad-diagonal A diagonal: the face runs black at the top-left to pale gray at the bottom-right, the cut the opposite way, so the coin reads lit from the lower right. The subtler relative of the sweep for large hero placements.
Obsidian to steel blueY11-grad-steel The face runs obsidian at the top-left into steel blue (#4f6f9a) at the bottom-right, the cut a cool blue-silver: the only mark in the round with a hue. For the launch banner and social headers where the page blues are allowed in.
Holographic sheenY12-grad-holo The cut as a holographic foil: a diagonal of five muted pastels (blue, lilac, mint, peach) at low saturation, so the ₿ shimmers but never turns into a rainbow; a faint white sheen band across the obsidian face. The foil-sticker and card-print version.
Gradient ringY13-grad-ring The home-page coin untouched (black face, the ₿ in obsidian on obsidian) inside a 46-px ring of diagonal silver (bright top-left, dark lower-right, a second light at the bottom): a bezel around the coin, so the black coin stands on black.
Gradient horizontal lockupY14-grad-lockup-h The sweep coin (Y08) beside BITCOIN MOI in Orbitron 900 (embedded), the letters carrying the same silver-to-graphite sweep over the counter-sweep bevel. The gradient twin of O04 for headers and banners.
The coin on the home page is the logo for now: the obsidian face with the ₿ cut through to the silver underneath. Fifteen variations that keep that identity: the coin verbatim and a high-detail build for 1024 px, the black-on-silver inversion, the horizontal and stacked BITCOIN MOI lockups, the binary and REMEMBER REMEMBER rings, the app tile, a seal, a 16-px pixel favicon, the two roots, MOI under the ₿, the bare glyph, M(coin)I and the engraved black-on-black.
The home-page coinO01-orig-cut The hero coin verbatim at 1000 px: the silver disc (coinCut) under the obsidian face (coinFace) with the ₿ cut out, so the ₿ is the silver showing through. The reference every other mark here varies.
topThe coin, high detailO02-orig-hd The same coin built for 1024 px: a milled edge, the silver cut with its shadow, a catch-light where the face meets the cut, a hairline engraved border with 64 ticks (a SHA-256 digest is 64 hex digits) and the ₿ cut given depth (dark top-left, light bottom-right edges). The exact page gradients, scaled.
Black on silverO03-orig-inverse The inversion: a silver disc inside an obsidian rim, the ₿ in obsidian on the silver. Same three parts, swapped; the pair of O01 and O03 is the two-sided coin.
topHorizontal lockupO04-orig-lockup-h The coin beside BITCOIN MOI in the page's h1 face (Orbitron 900, embedded), the letters obsidian with the silver bevel so they stand on white and on black. For headers and the wide banner.
Stacked lockupO05-orig-lockup-stack The coin above BITCOIN / MOI (Orbitron 900, embedded), MOI letter-spaced to the width of the coin. For square placements, posters and the launch card.
Binary ringO06-orig-bin-bevel The coin inside the wide silver bevel with BITCOIN MOI in 8-bit ASCII (01000010010010010101010001000011010011110100100101001110 010011010100111101001001) engraved in it, a diamond at the top and at the word gap. Bits read at 256 px, milling below.
Remember, rememberO07-orig-remember REMEMBER REMEMBER / THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER engraved in the bevel band around the coin (Orbitron, embedded): the launch-date coin.
The app tileO08-orig-tile The coin as a rounded square: the silver cut around the obsidian tile, a hairline inset, the ₿ cut out and centred. App icon, avatar, PWA tile.
The sealO09-orig-seal A stamp, not a coin: two rings, BITCOIN MOI over DON'T TRUST · VERIFY (Orbitron, embedded), two diamonds, the bare ₿ in the centre (obsidian with the silver rim). One-colour friendly: rubber stamp, watermark, letterhead.
topThe 16-px pixel coinO10-orig-pixel The coin redrawn on a 16 x 16 grid: a 1-px dark-silver rim, the obsidian disc, the ₿ upright in silver pixels. Every size is an integer multiple of 16, so the favicon is crisp at 16 and 32 px; at 1024 it is pixel art.
The two rootsO11-orig-roots The coin on a trunk that splits into two roots ending in two blocks - Skydoge and Bitcoin, the two roots that become one. The round-1 merkle story under the home-page coin.
MOI under the ₿O12-orig-moi The ₿ raised and a small constructed MOI under it (the M with its tap root), both silver on the obsidian face: symbol and name on one coin.
The ₿ aloneO13-orig-glyph The bare glyph lifted off the coin: obsidian with the silver rim (the family rule that makes black read on black). For inline use next to text and as the stamp inside other marks.
M (coin) IO14-orig-mcoin The home-page coin IS the O of MOI, between the M-root and the I. Wordmark and symbol are one object; the coin lifts out as the icon.
Engraved, black on blackO15-orig-engraved The ₿ pressed into the obsidian face instead of cut through it: only the silver cut and the silver rim around the glyph show. The quiet version for dark surfaces.
The B coin: our own upright B (stem, two bowls, four bars — the Skydoge coin's B, not the Bitcoin logo outline) on the front page's black coin with the silver cut. Twelve variations: the plain cut coin (the hero + favicon pick), the engraved black-on-black B, the wide silver bevel, the BITCOIN MOI binary ring, the double ring, REMEMBER REMEMBER, B over MOI, the M-root mint mark, the 64-tick hash ring, the bare glyph, the app tile and M(coin)I.
topThe B coinB01-b-cut The front page coin with OUR B: a silver disc, the obsidian face cut into it, the raised silver B with a dark drop. The hero + favicon candidate: 3 shapes, reads at 16 px.
The B coin, engravedB02-b-engraved Same coin, the B pressed INTO the obsidian: black on black with only the silver rim (relief technique) showing the outline. The quiet version.
The B coin, wide bevelB03-b-bevel G15 black-gold translated: reeded edge, a wide silver bevel band, the silver B on the obsidian field. The 64 px-and-up coin.
topBinary ring in the bevelB04-b-bin-bevel The L02g-bin-bevel remake: BITCOIN MOI in 8-bit ASCII (01000010010010010101010001000011010011110100100101001110 010011010100111101001001) engraved in the silver bevel, a diamond at the top and at the word gap, the silver B on the field. Bits read at 256 px, milling below.
Double ringB05-b-bin-double The X02 remake: the binary in the bevel, BITCOIN MOI / DON'T TRUST · VERIFY in silver letters on the face around a smaller B (Orbitron, embedded).
Remember, rememberB06-b-remember The B coin with REMEMBER REMEMBER / THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER engraved in the bevel band: the launch-date coin (Orbitron, embedded).
B with the M-root mint markB08-b-mroot The B coin with the small M-root monogram at four o'clock, the way a mint marks a coin: the round-1 family inside the B coin.
topM (coin) IB12-moi-bcoin W10 translated: the B coin IS the O of MOI, between the M-root and the I. Wordmark and symbol are one object; the coin lifts out as the icon.
topThe sealS01-seal Ring + the merkle-3 glyph: one root block, two leaf blocks (Skydoge, Bitcoin), the two edges are the roots that join. The primary symbol; favicon-safe at 16 px.
The root glyphS02-merkle The merkle-3 glyph alone, no ring: three blocks and two edges. The most compact favicon of the family; also the pattern inside every seal and coin.
M-root monogramS03-mroot A constructed M whose centre V drops a tap root below the baseline: two peaks (two chains) funnel into one root. The M of every wordmark here.
App tileS05-tile Obsidian rounded square with a hairline silver inset and the M-root: the app-icon / social-avatar form. The one-colour versions knock the glyph out of the tile.
Merkle-7 sealS06-merkle7-seal The three-level binary tree (1-2-4) in the ring: "the proof, the root, the tree" literally. For 64 px and up; S01 is its small-size twin.
Hash ringS07-hash-ring 64 ticks (a SHA-256 digest is 64 hex digits) around the merkle-3 glyph: the proof-of-work ring. Works from 32 px; the ticks melt into a dotted ring at 16.
Pixel faviconS08-pixel16 The merkle-3 glyph redrawn on a 16x16 pixel grid so the 16 px favicon is crisp instead of a resampled blur. Same shape as S02.
Block sealS09-block The square counterpart of S01: a block frame around the merkle-3 glyph. For places where a round mark fights the layout (favicons in square tabs, stamps).
WordmarkW01-wordmark BITCOIN MOI in the constructed alphabet (cap 100, weight 22, square geometry in the spirit of the site Orbitron but drawn as paths, no font). The M carries the tap root.
MOI with the seal as OW03-moi-seal The short mark: M-root, then the S01 seal standing in for the O, then I. Reads MOI and shows the symbol in one line.
Tile lockupL03-lockup-tile The app tile with the M-root beside the wordmark: the alternative horizontal lockup when the square icon is already in use (app stores, social).
topCoin, merkle faceC01-coin-merkle Obsidian coin with a reeded engraved edge and a silver bevel; the merkle-3 glyph on the face, BITCOIN MOI above, DON'T TRUST · VERIFY below, SHA-256 and the launch date 05 · 11 · 2026 (Orbitron, embedded).
Coin, M-root faceC02-coin-mroot The same coin with the M-root monogram, a 64-tick inner ring and REMEMBER REMEMBER / THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER: the restrained Guy-Fawkes-night nod, no mask, no borrowed branding.
Bitcoin MOI · remember, remember, the fifth of November · don't trust, verify. In partnership with Layer Tree Labs. All marks are original vector drawings; no font files are needed to use the SVGs except the marks that carry lettering, which embed the site's Orbitron.
